Caltrain Pass Forward Renewals

Are you a commuter who uses Caltrain's Pass Forward program? Are you on our waiting list, hoping to participate in the program for 2025?

We have wonderful news to share with you!

The passes we distributed in 2024 had a high ridership. The passes helped Caltrain increase access to this vital public transit pipeline, while also assisting essential workers so that they could commute to work at a reduced cost. Now Manzanita Works is renewing our collaboration with Caltrain to distribute passes into 2025, and Caltrain has decided to nearly triple the number of passes we are allocated! As a result, we will not only be able to provide passes to those of you patient commuters who have stayed on our waiting list but also expand access to this important program to additional essential workers for whom commuting by car may be a financial strain and want to try commuting by train.

We are awaiting specific instructions from Caltrain in the coming days on how to re-activate your card for January. We will be writing all affected individuals directly via the email addresses provided to us to update them on what to do next. 

In the meantime, hold onto your 2024 pass— please do not discard after it expires!
