Disaster Prep Day

Free Family & Community Event Saturday August 2nd
Come visit the Manzanita Tool Share booth at the 21st Annual San Mateo County Disaster Prep Day and you may get a sighting of Smokey the Bear and Captain Cal, the mascot for CalFire, looking at our essential tools for wildfire prevention!
When: Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 from 10am to 2pm
Where: San Mateo County Event Center (Fairgrounds)
We are honored to be exhibiting our tool share next to some of our region's essential working heroes including various local fire departments, Fire Wise USA, CERT, Stanford Blood Center and more. There will be free hands-on trainings such as one on how to properly use a fire extinguisher. Additionally, you can visit emergency vehicles, brush up on CPR at life-saving skills workshops, and introduce your kids to fun activities.
