Launched: Manzanita Tool Share

We are thrilled to share that we've launched the Manzanita Tool Share - a mobile tool lending library!

Manzanita Tool Share is a collection of tools and equipment that can be borrowed and used for your individual and group projects in home repair, woodworking, landscaping, bicycle repair, arts and crafts, sewing, and the culinary arts.

Based on a community membership model, the tool share allows individuals, local essential employers, or voluntary civic organizations who join to access the collection and related programming as a shared community resource.

How does it work? To join, individuals review and sign our membership agreement on our Manzanita Tool Share online platform. Once a member, you reserve the tools you'd like to borrow and then pick-up or drop-off at one of our regular weekly pop-up sites.

We're proud to be partnering with local brick and mortar tool vendors like Hayward Lumber, Hassett Ace Hardware and Outdoor Supply Hardware plus community partners like Hidden Villa and the PAL Center in Redwood City.

Annual dues and rental fees are waived for the 2024 calendar year!
